The whole industry benefits when more people are using bikes
Oslo Bicycle Fest is a free, open street fair. A full day dedicated to bicycle commuting: discovering bikes, trying them out & buying, meeting the people behind the brands, and feeling what it means to be part of a city that's choosing bicycles.
Why be there:
A central stage in the city. Grünerløkka is one of Oslo's busiest and most loved neighbourhoods. This isn't a trade fair in a conference centre — it's a street event in a place where people already are, with thousands of passersby turning into engaged visitors throughout the day.
The right audience, already interested. Everyone who shows up to Oslo Bicycle Fest is there because they chose to be. They're curious, they're open, and they're thinking about cycling. That's a fundamentally different quality of attention than advertising or a shop visit.
Visibility that lasts beyond the day. Participants are included in all event promotion — before, during, and after. Your presence at the fest becomes part of how Oslo's cycling community gets to know you.
How to participate
The Bike Industry
You sell under your own brand and hold exclusive distribution rights for one or more bike brands in Norway — supplying other shops as well as selling direct. → Most complete package, includes brand representation
Bike Importers & Brand Distributors
You sell bikes or bike-related products directly to customers. This covers shops, dealers, and any bike business focused on being present and selling on the day. → Straightforward stand and sales package.
Bike Shops & Retailers
Your brand belongs at this event, but a sales stand isn't your focus. Right for component brands, B2B suppliers, services, and any company that wants visibility over ground presence. → Media presence and brand exposure, no stand required

About the festival
Oslo Bicycle Fest launches for the first time — a free, open street fair built around one simple idea: if you're thinking about buying a bicycle, or you already ride and want to go deeper into that world, this is your day.
No entry fee. No barriers. A full day in one of Oslo's best neighbourhoods dedicated to bicycle commuting: discovering bikes, trying them out, meeting the people behind the brands, and feeling what it means to be part of a city that's choosing bicycles.
The purpose
Urban cycling in Oslo is accelerating. More people are replacing cars with bikes, and investing seriously in their bikes as infrastructure rather than hobby equipment. The market is growing, the culture is shifting — and there's no event in this city that properly celebrates and serves that moment. Oslo Bicycle Fest is that event.
Everyone in this space benefits when more people ride.
The goal
Get more people in Oslo interested in bikes to travel to work, school, and everything in between.
